HILAYES, S.L. was founded in 1993 and belongs to Grupo Tarragona, holding companies dedicated to manufacturing ceramic construction materials. The company has its own clay and plaster quarries, transport company and ceramics company. The origins of this Group date back to the beginning of the 20th Century, starting with the manufacture of bricks in an almost manual procedure by way of wood-fired ovens. As the years have passed, together with the efforts of the Tarragona Family, this Company has kept up with the times and other work centres have opened, extending the manufacture production and the range of products on the market.

HILAYES, S.L. was set up with the aim of being a pioneer company dedicated to the manufacture and sale of gypsum-covered sheets/gypsum-covered bricks (Lateroyeso-Ladryeso) in Spain. This is a novelty product with a great added value due to the speed by which it can be assembled, 100% flat levelness, reduced rubble, impeccable finish, and finally, also providing profitability to construction projects.
